At Studio Meeraavi, each product is handmade with care, precision, and artisan craftsmanship. Since many of our items are customised or made-to-order, our cancellation terms are designed to protect both the customer and the creative process involved in producing handcrafted goods. This policy explains when and how an order can be cancelled.
1. Order Cancellation Window
Customers may request cancellation within 12 hours of placing the order. This window applies only if production has not yet started. Because our products are handcrafted, we often begin preparing materials or working on the design shortly after receiving the order. Once production has started, cancellation may no longer be possible.
2. Customised & Personalized Orders
Cancellation is not allowed for:
- Customised products
- Engraved items
- Items with personalised names, photos, or messages
- Corporate gift orders with branding or logo
- Bulk handmade orders created specifically for the customer
Once the customer provides confirmation for customisation, the order becomes non-cancellable.
3. Orders Already Processed or Shipped
An order cannot be cancelled if:
- It has already been processed
- It is under production
- It has been packed and handed over to the courier
- It is already shipped
If a cancellation request is raised after dispatch, the order will be treated as a normal purchase and cannot be reversed.
4. Cancellation for COD (Cash on Delivery) Orders
If COD is available:
- Frequent cancellation or refusal to accept delivery may lead to account restrictions or denial of future COD orders.
- Refusing delivery after dispatch is considered misuse and will not be treated as a valid cancellation.
5. Studio Meeraavi-Initiated Cancellations
In rare cases, Studio Meeraavi may cancel an order due to:
- Unavailability of materials
- Incorrect or incomplete address details
- Payment issues (for prepaid orders)
- Unforeseen delays in production
- Bulk order restrictions
In such cases, customers will be notified promptly, and a full refund will be issued if payment was already made.
6. Refunds for Approved Cancellations
If a cancellation request is accepted within the allowed window:
- Prepaid order amounts will be refunded to the original payment method
- Refunds take 7–10 working days after approval
- Processing time may vary based on the bank or payment gateway
Custom orders are not eligible for refunds once work has started.
7. How to Request a Cancellation
To cancel an order, customers must contact us through:
- Phone call
Cancellation requests must include:
- Order ID
- Customer name
- Reason for cancellation
Requests submitted through social media DMs may not be accepted unless confirmed by our support team.
8. No Cancellation Due to Minor Variations
As all our products are handmade, slight variations in colour, texture, engraving depth, or design are natural. These differences are not valid reasons for cancellation or refund.
