Rooted in Heritage, Crafted with Heart — The Story of Studio Meeraavi

Why Choose Us

Partners Who Inspire & Enrich Everyday Living with Studio Meeraavi

In an age of mass production and fleeting trends, Studio Meeraavi stands for something timeless.

India’s tribal and traditional art forms are not merely decorative — they are living legacies, passed down through generations of skilled hands and quiet devotion. Yet many of these arts face extinction, lost to industrialisation and lack of visibility.

At Studio Meeraavi, we exist to change that narrative.

We curate and create handcrafted works that embody heritage, intention, and human touch. Each piece carries a story — of an artisan, a community, and a tradition that deserves to be seen, valued, and preserved. Our work transforms traditional craftsmanship into contemporary expressions suited for refined, conscious living.

We believe true luxury lies in authenticity, not excess. In the patience of handwork. In the imperfections that make each creation unique. In knowing that your choice supports real artisans, sustains livelihoods, and keeps cultural traditions alive.

Studio Meeraavi is more than a studio — it is a global platform for tribal artisans, a bridge between age-old wisdom and modern appreciation. Through exhibitions, workshops, and thoughtfully designed collections, we give artisans a voice and a reach beyond borders.

When you choose Studio Meeraavi, you invest in culture, craft, and conscious luxury — and become a custodian of art that refuses to fade.

        From The Founder

        Purva Ahire - Yeole

Studio Meeraavi was born from a belief I hold deeply — art should be accessible to everyone, everywhere.

My journey with Indian art and handicrafts has taken me far beyond geographical borders. Since 2010, I have had the privilege of showcasing Indian tribal art forms through art shows, exhibitions, and workshops across international platforms, particularly in Germany and France. Representing India on these global stages and engaging directly with international audiences gave me invaluable insight into the true worth of our traditional arts — not only as cultural expressions, but as globally respected art forms with immense relevance and appeal.

Conducting workshops and exhibitions abroad allowed me to witness first-hand how deeply people connected with Indian tribal art — its stories, techniques, and philosophies. These experiences shaped my understanding of the real value of Indian art, and also highlighted the urgent need for better platforms, fair representation, and wider accessibility for our artisans back home.

Along with my husband, Viraj Yeole, I founded Studio Meeraavi with a clear purpose — to create a bridge between Indian artisans and the world. Our vision was never about making art exclusive or unattainable. Instead, it was about ensuring that handcrafted Indian art remains authentic, ethical, and affordable, while reaching audiences across nations with ease.

Studio Meeraavi is my way of bringing India’s living traditions closer to people everywhere. Through workshops, exhibitions, DIY kits, and handcrafted collections, we invite individuals not just to own art, but to experience it, understand its roots, and become a part of its journey.

I believe that when art is made accessible, it does more than decorate spaces — it preserves heritage, empowers communities, and builds meaningful connections across cultures.

Studio Meeraavi is not just a studio. It is a commitment — to the artisans, to the art forms that deserve to thrive, and to a world that values handmade, meaningful creation.
